Less free memory after running show in PPT Viewer due to unknown cause.
Cause:
Unknown. Microsoft is currently researching the problem.
Solution:
As a workaround, try to free up system resources.
Do one or more of the following to free up system resources:
1) Close all other open applications:
a) Right-click on the taskbar button for the application. (A submenu appears.)
b) Select 'Close' to close the application.
2) Back up and delete unnecessary files to free up disk space.
a) Click the 'Start' button to display the Windows 'Start' menu.
b) Select 'Programs' and select 'Accessories'.
c) Select 'System Tools'.
d) Click the 'Backup' tab.
e) Run a backup.
f) Delete unnecessary Windows files
3) Reduce the amount of disk space reserved for the Recycle Bin:
a) Right-click on the Recycle Bin icon. (A shortcut menu appears.)
b) Select 'Properties' from the shortcut menu. (The Recycle Bin Properties dialog box appears.)
c) Click the 'Global' tab.
d) Move the slider to the left in the 'Maximum size of Recycle Bin section' to decrease the size of the Recycle Bin. (The percentage of the drive dedicated to deleted files is displayed.)
e) Click 'OK'.
4) (Optional) If the problem persists, do one or more of the following to increase system memory:
a) Adjust the virtual memory settings in Windows 95:
1] Click the 'Start' button to display the Windows 'Start' menu.

3] Open 'System'.
4] Adjust the virtual memory settings in Windows 95:
a] Click the 'Performance' tab.
b] Select 'Virtual Memory...'. (The Virtual Memory properties sheet appears.)
c] Select 'Let Windows manage my virtual memory settings (recommended)'. (This option lets Windows dynamically allocate disk space to serve as virtual memory as required.)
d] Click 'OK' twice.
b) Obtain additional RAM for the computer.
NOTE: Office 95 applications run most efficiently if the computer has at least 8 MB of ram on Windows 95 or 16 MB of ram on Windows NT.
